ABOUT ME
I am an Independent Music Professional, currently living in Palm Springs, CA. I have been a musician all my life. I started playing the piano, by ear, at the age of 4. My mother then started taking me to lessons. I graduated from St. Olaf College with a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance. After many years of classical training, I decided to pursue a career in commercial music. To that end, I later attended and received a Piano Performance degree at Dick Grove School of Music in Studio City, CA. My greatest attribute as a musician is my ear. I have absolute pitch, which is innate. It is a real blessing and, at some times, a real pain. However, I'm grateful for the gift. Over the years, I've had incredible experiences performing and traveling all over the world. I continue to do so and am happy to be self-employed and work freelance. DaKoda Duo, playing private parties, events and country clubs.
